Dog Eat Dog
In celebration of #CookForYourPets day, our picks for the best movie scenes featuring dogs chowing down. Download the Caavo TV & Movie Guides App to add these selections to your own what-to-watchlist.
1. Lady and the Tramp - Sharing Spaghetti (1955):
That iconic spaghetti scene. So romantic. Fun fact: The legend himself, Walt Disney, cut the scene from the original storyboards because he thought it was too far-fetched. The lead animator ended up rescuing the classic moment by creating a rough animation to show Disney the magic.
2. The Mask - Not the Cheese, the Keys (1994):
We totally sympathize with Milo the Jack Russel Terrier from The Mask getting distracted by a piece of cheese.
3. Turner & Hooch - Beers (1989):
This slobbery but adorable troublemaker helps himself to a few cold ones.
4. Beethoven 2 - Hamburger Eating Competition (1993):
Not the greatest sequel ever, but who doesn't love a good eating contest, especially when it involves man vs canine. What can go wrong?
5. Marley & Me - How Are You Still Eating? (2008):
Cute puppy alert! Also filed under "movies that make us cry every time."
6. Scooby Doo and the Witch's Ghost - Shaggy and Scooby Eat Really Fast (1999):
We'll have what he's having. Our favorite cartoon canine chows down with reckless abandon.
7. The Shaggy Dog - Breakfast Scene (2006):
Cheating slightly since it's not technically a dog, just Tim Allen who thinks he's one at the breakfast table. So many smells.
