Control Center Works With

Control Center works with nearly everything you plug into your TV with HDMI, including cable or satellite boxes, streaming media players, gaming consoles, DVD/Blu-Ray players, soundbars, and other sound systems.

See details on compatible devices, apps and services.

Control Center works best if you have at least 2 or more devices connected to your TV.

If you have a combination of any of the below devices Control Center will allow you to control everything with one remote, automatically switch between your services and devices, and simplify your overall entertainment experience.

Yes, I have at least two (2) from the below list:

  • Streaming Media player: Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Nvidia Shield
  • Cable/Satellite: Xfinity, DISH, DirectTV, Spectrum
  • Game Console: XBox, PlayStation, Nintendo
  • DVD/Blu-Ray Player
  • Soundbar, Surround Sound, Audio Video Receiver: Control Center works with all the top brands including Sonos, Denon, Yamaha, Onkyo, Bose, Marantz, Polk, and more

SUPPORTED APPS & SERVICES

Control Center works with many popular streaming apps, including Netflix, Hulu, iTunes and more (see current list below — we’re always adding more to the list). When you choose what you want to watch, Control Center automatically switches to the right device, launches the app, and plays it. So, for example, when you choose to watch Star Trek on Hulu, Control Center would automatically switch to Hulu on your Roku and take you directly to the movie.

Unless noted below, apps work with the following streaming media players: Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Nvidia Shield, and Roku.

  • Amazon Prime Video
  • CBS
  • DirecTV Now: Control Center automatically switches to the right device and launches the app, but does not take you directly to content in the app.
  • HBO GO & HBO NOW
  • Hulu: Control Center can’t link directly to live channels in Hulu live TV.
  • iTunes Movies & Shows: Only available on Apple TV.
  • NBC
  • Netflix
  • Playstation Vue: Control Center automatically switches to the right device and launches the app, but does not take you directly to content in the app.
  • Plex
  • Showtime & Showtime Anytime
  • SlingTV: Control Center automatically switches to the right device and launches the app, but does not take you directly to content in the app.
  • Starz
  • TBS
  • TNT
  • Vudu: Right now, Control Center only supports automatic switching and direct content links on Vudu with Roku.
  • YouTube: The YouTube app is not currently available on Amazon Fire TV.
